Pierre Verger

Pierre Verger, as Vice President of Operations for Heritage Senior Living, has over 20 years in the hospitality and health care fields. He oversees a staff of over 800 employees at thirteen locations throughout Wisconsin. In order to respond to the needs of the seniors, Heritage provides Assisted Living, Enhanced Assisted Living and Memory Care in its communities.

Most recently, Pierre was the Executive Manager for the Aquitaine Area for Groupe ORPEA, a European leader in senior housing. Pierre was responsible for the entire operations of 26 nursing homes that included 1,700 beds with over 1,000 employees located in France.

In addition to his work experience in health care, Pierre has an extensive background in hotel management. Pierre created, owned and operated the Domaine de Faugeras hotel. Prior to that he managed the Porches Inn and was the Food & Beverage Supervisor at the Red Lion Inn in Massachusetts from 2000 to 2002.

Pierre holds an MBA in Management in healthcare and medical organizations from the Insitut d’ Administration des Entreprises-University de Limoges, a Masters’ Degree in International Hotel and Restaurant Management from the VATEL Institute, a Bachelor’s Degree in Management and Accounting in Small Business and a Baccalaureate ES in Economics and Social Sciences.

Debbie Harry-Miller

Debbie Harry-Miller, Vice President of Sales and Marketing Heritage Senior Living, LLC

Debbie brings to Heritage Senior Living 14 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Starting as the Community Relations Coordinator in 2006, she was promoted to Regional Director of Community Relations and currently oversees the Sales and Marketing efforts for the company.

She has a BS in Business Management and Administration from the University of Ottawa.

Jaime Schwingel

Jaime, who holds a master’s degree in nursing with an executive leadership concentration, has over 20 years of nursing experience, including 13 years in leadership roles, as well as 10+ years providing legal nurse consulting. Her Clinical expertise has given her the ability to reorganize problematic nursing systems into complete and unified structures.

As a VP of clinical and medical operations, Jaime is responsible for the overall clinical operations for HSL which includes strategic planning, policy and procedure development, risk management, leadership development, and regulatory compliance.

Karen Schacht

Karen Schacht, Vice President of Quality Heritage Senior Living, LLC

Over the past 18 years, Karen Schacht has had a vast array of experience in the senior healthcare field in multiple states, primarily in management of assisted living and memory care. She has earned a Masters in Healthcare Administration from Bellevue University, and is a Certified Dementia Practitioner. Her experience includes collaborating with ground-up development, management of operations, quality improvement, business development, and acquisitions. She has won multiple awards, including National Business Women of the Year and Golden Heart Achievement Award. Additionally, she has spoken nationally on the subject of Assisted Living.
